Six Sentence Sunday: April 29th

Morning peeps. Once again it's time for Six Sentence Sunday and I've returned with another six sentences from my m/m short, Kaholo's Seduction.  In this scene we along with Toby get our first glimpse of Kaholo's inner sanctum. Enjoy and don't forget to stop by HERE for the rest of the SSS fun!

A lone lamp illuminated the large sleigh bed sitting in the center of Kaholo’s room. Toby wiped his damp palms on his jeans as he stepped across the threshold for the first time.  He wondered why all of their exploring had occurred downstairs on Kaholo’s leather couch when he had this magnificent king-sized bed set up above their heads.
“Because I would’ve had you long before now, ipo.” Kaholo shut the door behind him, answering his unspoken thought. “I wouldn’t have been able to resist – only the fact we were downstairs has kept me honest.”

And because I had some one ask what a sleigh bed is I've added a picture of Kaholo's bed. Enjoy :)

Six Sentence Sunday: April 22nd

Once again it's Sunday and it's time for the SSS madness to start. As always each and every author appreciates those of you who stop by our sites and comment.  So be sure to drop back HERE - I know the other authors will greatly appreciate it.  With  that being said, I once more have six sentences from my m/m short, Kaholo's Seduction.  This six takes place after Toby and Koholo are interrupted on the beach for dinner.  This bit of dialogue is from Koholo's p.o.v. as he's reminiscing about their first kiss. Enjoy.

In his pants, his cock stirred at the memory – of how sweet but tentative Toby’s lips had felt against his as he finally gave into his natural desire for another man – namely Kaholo.  Never mind the fact that he’d had to ply the man with plenty of Coronas to get past his inhibitions.  He’d soothed his conscious by reminding himself he’d managed to keep his hands off Toby’s amazing body while they’d kissed.  Not that it had stopped Toby from rubbing every inch of his against mine while we kissed each other senseless.  He’d almost spilled inside his pants like an untried youth.  The only thing which had stopped him was the arrival of his mother; her distaste for his lifestyle had not only ruined the mood - but had sent Toby scurrying back up the beach towards his much more modest home.

Six Sentence Sunday: April 15th

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments and  appreciate that you're taking time out of your busy Sunday. This week I'm going to give you six sentences from my new m/m short I'm writing for the Summer Heat anthology coming in August from No Boundaries Press.  In this scene, Toby, an older man from the Midwest has relocated to beautiful Honolulu for work. While there he finally gives into his attraction to other men.  In this scene, he and Kaholo are on the beach leading up to his first intimacy.  Enjoy and don't  forget to stop back HERE for the other contributors of S.S.S.

“Easy.”  Kaholo gentled him, his finger easing up, his dark amber eyes reassuring. “We’ll take it as slow as you need – I can wait until you’re ready, ipo.”
Toby nearly melted into the sand at the husky endearment if it weren’t for the shoulders under his palms.  There was something about his new lover which had snuck under his guard. It was exactly this kind of thing which went straight to Toby’s jaded heart.

Six Sentence Sunday: April 8th

Welcome to an Easter Edition of Six Sentence Sunday.  As always I thank everyone who is taking the time out of their busy holiday weekend to stop by and read my contribution to SSS.  Speaking of which, if you have the time, check out the rest of the contributers HERE. With that being said this week, we're returning to my current WIP, Retrieving Rena.  This is taken from Chapter Two after Rena has escaped Jackson's clutches again.  In this scene, Jackson is the first person speaking and he's talking to Jude, his best friend and partner in Larson Securities. Enjoy!

“It’s not thinking, I’m after though – I’m so fuckin’ horny I’d screw a snake if you held the head;  I want her in my bed, like yesterday.”
A dark blond brow rose before Jude shook his head. “You know for a Dom, you are surprisingly lacking patience.”
“See how you feel after chasing your woman all over the place for the past eight months – then tell me how I’m lacking patience.”  Jackson dropped onto the leather couch sitting in the corner of the office, covering his eyes with his forearm. “Imagine knowng your Mistress needs release but refuses to let you take care of her – ignoring her needs because she’s scared you’ll think she’s weak and instead walks away.”

Six Sentence Sunday: April 1st

Happy April Fool's Day, and while I don't have a joke or prank for you, I do have Six Sizzling Sentences  from my just completed paranormal WIP, Her Wolfen Destiny. This is from the claiming scene between my hero, Braden and his lady wolf, Emma.  Enjoy!  And don't forget to stop back by HERE for more contributions.

“Please – oh my God, I’m begging, Braden!  Finish it!”  Bucking under him, she was a wild thing determined to test her mate.   With a snarl he latched onto her shoulder, his fangs digging deep, connecting them in ways that his cock couldn’t.  The moment they broke the skin, a connection he’d never thought to experience washed over him as her sheath clamped down on him, her pleasure milking him, begging him to join her. He came with a roar, his wolf’s howl echoing through the cry.

Six Sentence Sunday: March 25th

Hey Peeps - once again it's time for the SSS madness to begin.  I thank each and everyone of you who take the time out of your busy schedule to stop by and not only read but comment on my humble scribblings.  Don't forget you can find the rest of the SSS authors HERE.  This week's six comes from my current WIP, Retrieving Rena.  This is after she makes a clean get  away via the L and to her apartment.  Enjoy!
For a brief moment she thought of moving again, knowing with his and Jude’s connections it wouldn’t take Jackson long to locate her home address. But she immediately discarded the idea.  She loved her new apartment.  Quaint and cozy with over stuffed furniture,  vibrant paintings her sister had made and plenty of hardwood floors covered with bright colorful throw rugs her grandma and she had made, it might be a hodgepodge of tastes and decors but it was every inch hers. And I’m not going to let Jackson Lavough run me out of it. I’ll just have to keep telling him no and hopefully make it stick this time.

Six Sentence Sunday: March 18th

It's Sunday again!  Time for rest and relaxation after a long workweek, school week... no matter what the task,  Sunday is time for a well-deserved break.  With that being said, I'm bringing you, along with all of the other contributing Six Sunday-ers, a little bit of spice to enhance your weekend. That being said it's time to hear about some of the fallout from Rena turning in her resignation. (Now you didn't honestly think that Jackson would take that laying down did you?)   Well pull up a chair and take a peek into what happens at Rena's new job at the Atrium Mall when Jackson shows up, only to have Rena accuse him of whoring around. (Brave girl...considering the man is a Dom and has no issue cracking out the crop when need arises)

A low growl escaped Jackson. “That was completely uncalled for, and beneath you, Rena.  If I look rundown it’s because I’ve been tracking your sexy black ass all over Chicago, instead of getting my full eight hours of sleep a night.”  Releasing her from his embrace, he wrapped a firm hand around her upper arm. “But I have the solution for that.  I’m gonna chain your submissive little body to my bed – maybe then I’ll get more than four hours asleep.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Mar 11th

Welcome back Sixers!  As always, I appreciate those who stop by and check out my humble offerings and would like to remind everyone that by going HERE you can find more of the wonderful Six Sentence Sunday Madness.  With that being said, this week I'm taking another six from one of my WIP's, Retrieving Rena. When we left Rena last week, she'd told her sister she'd resigned from her job at Larson's Security.  This six shows the fallout from that decision - on the opposite end.  As always, I thank everyone who takes the time to comment. You peeps really make my day!

It's greatly appreciated.  With that being said, here's this week's six.  I couldn't leave you hanging from last week.  Here's Keisha's reaction to her sister's announcement that she's resigned from her job. Enjoy!

“You what!”  Keisha swung her legs around to stand and  Rena winced. This was it – her sister was going to come unglued on her.
“Calm down, Keisha.  This is my decision and probably one of my better ones.”  Rena picked at the nonexistent lint on the cushion beneath her.

Six Sentence Sunday: Feb 26th

Thanks for stopping by my blog again.  I, as well as the other authors who participate in SSS appreciate you taking time out of your Sunday to stop by and read our humble offerings.  Speaking of which, CLICK HERE to go back to the master list of participants.:)  With that being said, lets jump into this week's six.  I've taken a break from Retrieving Rena for the past couple of weeks, but I'm back on track now with this WIP.  This week's contribution starts out with Keisha, Rena's sister, trying to talk sense into Rena about the fact that she's sitting all alone when everyone else is at Jude's and Micah's collaring ceremony...the key word is trying...lol.

Six Sentence Sunday: Feb 19th

Hey peeps, welcome back for another edition of Six Sentence Sunday. I'm glad you could stop by.  As always, I appreciate you taking time out of your busy Sunday schedule to spend time with me. And of course your comments are always welcome, but don't forget to stop by HERE and check out all the SSS fun! With that being said, I've got six sentences from my serial story, Exploring Her Submission: Nisey,  which will be coming out on Amazon soon from Red Lipstick Journals.  In this part, the characters are Master Yangchi, Nisey, and her Dom Caelan who are trying to get past one of Nisey's hurdles - her fear of suspension. Enjoy!

“Fall back against Master Caelan.” Master Yangchi’s order was spoken so forcefully, Nisey responded without thought. Standing in the middle of the large airy playroom with her back to Caelan, she allowed her body to fall back into his arms. The familiar warm strength of him surrounding her, causing her nipples to harden with awareness even as security washed over her.
When they entered the room, this was the last thing she expected. What the hell does a trust building exercise have to do with my fear of suspension - I trust Caelan -  it’s the idea of nothing supporting me but ropes that scares me shitless.

SIx Sentence Sunday: Feb 12th

Hey peeps. Thanks for stopping by my blog this week. It's been a busy week, I've revamped my website and have done a slew of cover art for my daytime job, so this week I'm going to give you six sentences from Blind Need, my contribution to Decadent's 1Night Stand series.  In this part, Xaviera is remarking on the irony of Madame Eve's choice for her after Nate asked her how she managed to walk across the darkened room without killing herself.  Enjoy and be sure to stop back HERE for all the other SSS madness. (All of us authors do appreciate your stopping by and the comments you leave:D)

“Lots and lots of practice.” Shifting, a bitter laugh escaped her. "Unbelievable. Madame Evangeline sets me up with a man who wants everything done under the cover of darkness but doesn’t even realize I’m blind. We should’ve been a match made in heaven. She apparently didn’t factor in my rotten luck with men.”

Six Sentence Sunday: February 5th

Hey Peeps,
After taking a couple weeks off, due to my very hectic personal life (gotta love finals), I'm back with this week's SSS.  As usual, I, like all the other contributors, appreciate those who stop by our blogs to read our humble offerings - so please be sure to go HERE and check out the rest of them.:)  With that being said, here's my S.S.S. for this week.  I'm taking this from one of my two current WIP's, Her Wolfen Destiny.  It's from the first book of  my new series coming out with NBP.  Slated to come out later this month, this first scene is when Emma, a werewolf who's destiny is to bear the saviors of her people. She's just caught scent of her future mate, Braden and is none too happy.

Tall and broad shouldered, his closely cropped dark hair and neat appearance smacked of time spent in the military but the bruising and swelling around his left eye and nose attested to the fact he’d been in a recent altercation.  Then the scent of another female hit her nose.  A low growl built in her throat at the idea. Her wolf began to pace in agitation and it was all she could do to keep her from springing on the unsuspecting man.
The Great Mac’s head swung in her direction at the sound.  “Emma-girl, there you are. Your mother has been looking all over for you.”
