Six Sentence Sunday- August 27th

Last week, I brought you six sentences from my upcoming release, Dark Seduction. This week I've got a special little treat. This six sentence is from Seduction's Call, my latest WIP, and the follow up book for Dark Seduction.  In this sentence, Bile, the God of the Underworld, is talking to the heroine's mother about his plan to have Braelyn seduce the hero for his own gain....enjoy. :D

He raked a hand across his face. “Have you ever known me to be  foolish, Ashlin? Flannery is the best choice to father a new generation of warriors for my army. In fact, any of the Baghadur men would’ve done but he’s the one who’s not mated yet. I can’t ask my daughter to allow Kennet to impregnate another woman. Braelyn is the perfect solution because she’s…”

  1. Oooh! Daddy's got an "arranged mating" in the works? That probably won't go over well. Great six! :)

  4. Siobhan,
Yeah it didn't go over well with Flannery but he'll come around soon, but what's a guy to do when the God of the Underworld decides his fate...especially when said God is his boss?

    Thanks for commenting! :D

  5. Karysa,

God-father or not, I wouldn't want him as mine either! I can only imagine what the DH would say if I told him that his father in law was actually in charge of Hell...lol. And I'll let you in on a little secret,Braelyn is actually fated to be Flannery's mate...ulterior motives aside.:D

  6. Christa,

I will admit out of all the characters in this series, Bile is the one that intrigues me the most, even though he's only mentioned by name in the first book. He does play a larger part in the second book - again unseen...but in this last book - he has a huge roll in it, even if we're not agreeing on what his motives are.

    Thanks for commenting :D

  7. Dee,

Sorry about the tease. Even Ash, one of my best buddies called me on it. Darn limit for SSS...but I told her I thought it would catch a few peeps attention. I'll be posting the blurb for this book in the next couple of days as I've almost got it finished and ready to hand into my publisher.

    Thanks for the comment!
