Sunday Snippets #4

Another Sunday, another snippet to share along with my friends at RLJ.  So be sure to stop by HERE to find out what they have to tempt you with. As I've finished one of my WIP,  this will be the last tidbit you'll get from Her Wolfen Destiny until it comes out, but please enjoy!

Six Sentence Sunday: April 1st

Happy April Fool's Day, and while I don't have a joke or prank for you, I do have Six Sizzling Sentences  from my just completed paranormal WIP, Her Wolfen Destiny. This is from the claiming scene between my hero, Braden and his lady wolf, Emma.  Enjoy!  And don't forget to stop back by HERE for more contributions.

“Please – oh my God, I’m begging, Braden!  Finish it!”  Bucking under him, she was a wild thing determined to test her mate.   With a snarl he latched onto her shoulder, his fangs digging deep, connecting them in ways that his cock couldn’t.  The moment they broke the skin, a connection he’d never thought to experience washed over him as her sheath clamped down on him, her pleasure milking him, begging him to join her. He came with a roar, his wolf’s howl echoing through the cry.

Saturday Excerpts

It's Saturday, it's Saturday, and I'm sooo glad that this week is finally over. Doctor appointments, chaperoning and variety of other things have kept Ms Dakota busy this week.  With that being said, I thought you might all like a sneak peak at a scene from my contracted work in progress with No Boundaries Press.  For the Wolfen Prophesies Series I've dove back into the world of paranormal with a bunch of Scottish werewolves.  In the first book in this series, I've set the story in 1917 during the height of the "Great War " or what we better know as WWI.  This scene* is between my heroine, the feisty Emma and her reluctant mate, Braden as they have a difference of opinion.  Enjoy!

*this is an unedited excerpt, so all grammatical mistakes are mine alone.

Six Sentence Sunday: February 5th

Hey Peeps,
After taking a couple weeks off, due to my very hectic personal life (gotta love finals), I'm back with this week's SSS.  As usual, I, like all the other contributors, appreciate those who stop by our blogs to read our humble offerings - so please be sure to go HERE and check out the rest of them.:)  With that being said, here's my S.S.S. for this week.  I'm taking this from one of my two current WIP's, Her Wolfen Destiny.  It's from the first book of  my new series coming out with NBP.  Slated to come out later this month, this first scene is when Emma, a werewolf who's destiny is to bear the saviors of her people. She's just caught scent of her future mate, Braden and is none too happy.

Tall and broad shouldered, his closely cropped dark hair and neat appearance smacked of time spent in the military but the bruising and swelling around his left eye and nose attested to the fact he’d been in a recent altercation.  Then the scent of another female hit her nose.  A low growl built in her throat at the idea. Her wolf began to pace in agitation and it was all she could do to keep her from springing on the unsuspecting man.
The Great Mac’s head swung in her direction at the sound.  “Emma-girl, there you are. Your mother has been looking all over for you.”
