Okay here's the scoop, I've joined the Spanking Challenge A-Z. The idea is to start with A and make your way through the alphabet, a letter a day. So this is how it will work. I will post a new letter each day...except on Saturdays which is already full with two other weekly posts. By the end of the month, I should reach Z...so why not join me and root me on?
A word of warning however...although it's not necessarily supposed to be sexually themed challenge - just an effort to get me blogging more frequently, Livvy may have other ideas. We all know that rascally muse of mine won't let me get away with posting something mundane or platonic, so don't be surprised if most, if not all my posts have a sexual vibe to them.

So we're talking about nipples. Such a wonderful part of either a man or woman's body. They can be adorned with clamps, jewelry, tassels and even piercings (temporary or permanent) - the list can be endless - only bound by your imagination. And that's what I want to explore today.
Tassels - this has been around forever, or at least as long as there has been strippers. In fact the first ones came out during the 1920's when burlesque style dancing and entertainment became popular. It was a way to dance topless without being arrested for indecent exposure. Now a days they come in a wide variety of designs, colors and even in pop culture icons like Hello Kitty.
Jewelry - later I will talk about the most popular nipple jewelry, nipple rings when I do piercings, but for those of you who don't know...there is more to jewelry than just those beautiful captive rings and barbells. There are whole lines of non-piercing jewelry you can adorn you lover's nipples with. Like this little number to the left. It's a nipple chain that can be worn either as a slip on or clamp on style. Very erotic looking.
Clamps - of course that leads me to clamps. Clamps are a huge part of BDSM lifestyle but also can be fun for those who are more vanilla. Used to stimulate either a man or woman's nipples, they range from mild (as in a slight pinching feeling) to OMG...get this off me! for those who enjoy a true bite of pain with their pleasure.
And last but not least...
Piercings - this practice is a lot older than one would think. It was popularized again during the 70s as part of the gay BDSM/leather scene, but it goes back much further than that. There are reports that around 1890, it has a short surge of popularity amongst Victorian women. But there are even further back mentions of male nipple piercings by the Karankawa Native Americans and the females of the Kabyle women in Alegria. The picture the left is one of a captive nipple piercing. It is a popular style because of the wide variety of adornments and charms that can be used and it's as simple as exchanging the ball out for the desired charm. Another popular style is the barbell.

Nice! I've had the pleasure of trying out most of these, everything except tassels and permanent piercings. I did have a set of temp corset piercings on the boobs too. So much fun, so little time!
