Guest Blogger: La Isla del Encanto by Evelise Archer

Today it's my pleasure to have my fellow friend, critique partner and author, Evelise Archer swinging by.  And how cool is it that we both managed to have books coming out the same day?  *shakes head*  Unbelievable!  But either way with all the chaos going on around me with my own promotional whirl, I'm soooo happy to have Evelise stop by today. And pimp her new book. *leans in* And be sure to stop back on Sunday for my review of her yummy new book!  Take it away, sweetie...and don't mind the pouting muse in the corner.  She's ticked that she didn't get any chocolate at today's stop for my blog tour.  ((hugs))

First let me say thanks to Dakota for allowing me to pimp my new 1Night Stand, Tropical Paradise. And yes *looking around the room* Livvy too. Livvy, I come in peace, bearing dark chocolates, my sweet.

Well, let me tell you about Tropical Paradise, a story about La Isla del Encanto.

Hopefully the Spanish title grabbed your attention and now you’re asking, what the hell? My new release takes place in beautiful Puerto Rico, where the sun, sand, and the sea are in abundance. And all the hot men too.

Dakota, make sure that Livvy stays put and keeps her paws off my Latin hunks.

As a Latina, the island paradise is near and dear to my heart. Beautiful men and women grace the island’s beaches everyday soaking up the sun and looking for love. So, I decided, what better place than this scrumptious back drop for my 1Night Stand?

Writing Tropical Paradise was fun as I mapped the island in my mind, knowing that I had been there or could pinpoint any of the places. The drive from the airport in San Juan towards the coast, the sun shining brightly and the radio blaring. Every word written was a memory come to life and fueled my desire to tell Leo and Skyler’s story.

What you may find ironic is that out of everyone in my family, I am the least beachy-heat person. My family laughs as they ask, what kind of Puerto Rican are you, since you hate the heat and sand? What can I say- I may be Latina hot * put that in your pipe and smoke it Livvy* and have a Latin temper, but the heat is not my friend! I think is another life I was Eskimo and not Latina. Or better yet, I’m suited for a nudist colony.

I am my own oxymoron, but that’s what makes me unique and this Chica loves unique. I march to the beat of my own drum and make no apologies.

Writing Tropical Paradise was fun, and quite frankly if it’s not fun, then why do it?!

Dakota, and yes even you Livvy, thanks for having me on your blog.

If you want to find me, here’s my Links and stop by to say hi!

Blurb:
Can Madame Eve work her magic one more time? Leo Santos left the one man he loved behind to care for his ailing father. Sky Macy never forgot his one and only that got away. When they meet again on a blind date setup by 1Night Stand, will they go their separate ways or will the sparks reignite the love they never forgot?

On a secluded beach at the resort Las Casitas Villas in Fajardo, Leo and Sky come face to face after many years apart. Passion ignites so hot it threatens to burn them from within. They both will need to open their hearts and learn to trust if they hope to find love during one night of passion in a tropical paradise.
