Romance Madness Blog Hop

While most peeps recognize the fact that when I write I lean more towards erotica, I started out as both a writer and reader in the romance genre.  In fact, I think most erotic authors do.  It's a logical progression.  But even still with this being said, I still love romance.  It's a key aspect of my work. There has to be a happily ever after or I'm not happy.

I've been reading romance since I was seventeen, and I had to say one of my favorite romance novels, has always been the Silhoutte Desire Line. It featured authors like Elizabeth Lowell, Diana Palmer (for all those long Tall Texan's Fans) Maureen Child and  Maya Banks, just to name a few.  And honestly I can't chose my favorite so I've picked my top three.

To be entered to win  one of the three prizes listed below, fill out the Rafflecopter entry form.  I'll be drawing three winners on January 30th at 12pm CST.

Also don't forget stop by and check out the rest of the peeps from January 25th to 29th.   Just click the button on the bottom of this post :)   Mean while enjoy a little blast from the past - romance style :)

Top Three Romances Loved by Dakota

#3 Lean on Me by Jill Shavis, Nov, 1998

Bo Tyler was downright mesmerizing when he worked his magic on the children during therapy sessions, but Clarissa Woods kept resisting the sweet dare in his dark eyes! No one had ever teased her or flirted the way Bo did, and she'd never known the sizzling pleasure his lips promised with every touch. Could a special man who wouldn't settle for friendship be the lover who'd silence her fears and teach her to fly free at last?

In a story that is as richly romantic as it is poignant, Jill Shalvis celebrates the heart's astonishing capacity for healing when surprised by a gift of love. He'd offered her compassion, tenderness, and a chance to escape a terrifying past, but could they help each other wrestle the demons that still stood between them and happiness?

#2  His Girl Friday by Diana Palmer, Feb. 1990

"Once my mouth covers yours, there's no going back."

Even as his lips dragged roughly across hers, Danetta Marist knew her boss meant what he said. He was always arrogant and demanding, and this kiss was no exception. She could barely breathe for the intense heat that sizzled between them. But she believed in marriage, and Cabe Ritter was a terrible womanizer...

In fact, Cabe used his 'ladies' man' image; it kept him safe from women-like his pretty secretary-who wanted a commitment. But Danetta's innocence went to his head and, once he'd held her in his arms, he wanted to keep her there-forever!

#1 Outlaw by Elizabeth Lowell, Jan. 1991

Diana Saxton has come to Colorado's mesa country to explore the Anasazi cliffs. And she doesn't want -- or need -- the help of Tennessee Blackthorn, a man as tough and commanding as the land itself. But the sexy ranch hand seems determined to unlock the secrets of the mesa -- and the passion in Diana's heart.
