Christmas Wishes Blog Hop!

So it's time for another Christmas Blog Hop.  But what can I say. I absolutely love the holidays and want to spread the cheer - well as at least as much as I can.  So  Christmas is less than twenty days away and I can hardly wait. It's my favorite time of the year.  Not only do I have my family around me to celebrate, but I also have a wonderful son who nearly seventeen years ago came into my life, just in time for the holidays.  In fact, my son was born on Christmas Eve, his little blue eyes, blue as winter night's sky.  The perfect Christmas present if you ask me.

And speaking of wonderful gifts, the peeps at Book & Trailer Showcase, Coffee Beans and Love Scenes and Full Moon Bites have come up with  three wonderful prize packages for this hop.   A Nook Glow, A Kindle Paperwhite, and even a chance to win a $90 gift card from either Barnes and Noble or Amazon.  All in the hopes of making some lucky winners Christmas Wishes come true!

So what do you have to do?  Just hop around the linky list below to be entered as many times as possible. As for my own blog, not to worry I'm going to be giving away a prize as well. While I'm not to be as generous as the peeps over at CBLS,  Full Moon Bites and Book & Trailer Showcase, I will be offering a $20 gift certificate for either B & N or Amazon.  Winner's Choice.  Just answer the question below in the comment section.  And make sure to include your e-mail address, so I have a way to get a hold of you.

What is the best Christmas gift you have ever received?

Nowadays I don`t pay so much attention to Christmas gifts, it`s not the most important thing on these holidays :)

  14. Best Christmas present I ever received was a nutcracker music box. I love wind-up music boxes and I used to collect nutcrackers and I'm a big fan of Merlin from the King Arthur legends...so I was so surprised and loved the Merlin the wizard nutcracker that turns on a pedestal as it plays music.

  23. The best Christmas gift I ever received was made by my daughter with a little help from my parents. My father helped her make a staircase with a figure of a girl. On the staircase were the words " I will follow in your footsteps" I cried for the first time that Christmas. My daughter was only 7 at the time, but the quality of her love just filled my heart to over flowing.

  25. My first bicycle was on Christmas. Since I grew up poor, it was totally unexpected. I nearly blew the roof off screaming when I saw it by the tree with a big red bow. Now that I'm older, I understand how much my parents would have had to sacrifice to buy such an expensive gift.

  39. Is it horrible that I can remember all the bad ones but not the good? I will say it was a Cabbage Patch Kid when I was 9. That was when they were all the rage. My mother was a drug addict and not a huge part of my life as I lived with my dad. She showed up Christmas morning with a Cabbage Patch Kid for me. It was more the fact that she showed she cared than the actual doll, but the doll was pretty cool too!

    Happy Holidays,

  49. Hello Dakota,

(You asked: What is the best Christmas gift you have ever received?)

I received a NookColor. It was the best gift ever. It played right into my reading addiction because it made it easy to carry many books with me. I'm never without a book. I currently have 3700 books and counting! Yep, I'm addicted.

    Thanks for the opportunity.
