Okay, I know I'm a mom, and I'm not always up on the latest techno-geek things. Hell I can't even pronounce the word "meme" right, according to my teens, but that doesn't stop me from trying out new things. And the newest thing I've decided to dabble in this thing called Wattpad. Ever here of it? Until my daughters started reading fan fiction on there, I hadn't either. Even after my girls had gone on and on about how much they loved it, I just assumed that it merely a free site to read fan fiction and left it at that. It wasn't until I met the lovely Pauline Allan at one of my signings that I realized that it wasn't JUST about fan-fiction. In fact, she had a non-fiction story going on over there that was getting quite a bit of buzz.
Intrigued, I went and checked it out. Seemed simple enough. Easy enough to use platform, and I love the fact that you can compose right on the site, no silly uploading of your manuscript. So spurred on by the fact, that I've been fighting writer's block, I decided to go back to my roots and write a straight up erotic romance. Will there be BDSM in it? I'd like to say no, but I found no matter how hard I try...there always seems to be some elements of it that slip in. I blame my muse. Anyway, starting next week, I'll be posting regular installments to "Chroma" on Wattpad. (Will it later be available for purchase? That's yet to be determined, but for now it's free!)
